800 LX Profile Case

Designed especially for the latest generation of profile lights.

The LX Profile Case boasts several innovative features. Rather than dividing a standard trunk up into ellipsoidal-sized compartments, our design team reimagined the design from scratch. The result is a cutting-edge lighting road case that we believe is more space-efficient, more versatile, and more ergonomic than other existing options.

Not only is the LX Profile Case designed to take the newer wave of profile lights, but it can accommodate most lens configurations too, unlike standard trunks. The case can take lights fitted with any of the standard 14º to 90º lens options for fixed focus; as well as 15º–30º and 25–50º zoom options.

The case works with the LED ETC Source Four, the Chauvet Ovation LED Ellipsoidal range, and EK Profile lights. In addition to these and other recent profile lights, the case is compatible with the traditional Source Four. This versatility means the case will be a total solution for most production companies. The case does not work 6up for the Chauvet Reve but we do offer a 4up version in the same 800 external case if you have need.

Our foldable, semi-detachable sides mean the lift-over height of the case is significantly lower than standard cases. This allows for easy, ergonomic access to your profile lights.

A perfect fit in any transport, 800 Cases are optimised for 2.4m Truck Packology:

  • Pack 4 side-by-side in 2400mm box trucks and semi-trailers
  • Pack 3 end-to-end in 2400mm box trucks and semi-trailers

“I used to work with Matt and Joe (Fiasco owners) on shows. It’s nice that Fiasco Cases have been designed by people who have been on the road, know what it’s like to lift a case, and be on-site with one. We’ve been able to plan our truckloads and get a very good idea of how much equipment will fit in a truck before the truck turns up to be loaded. Because the dimensions are consistent and compatible, there are no surprises when packing the truck. It just makes our truck loads a lot faster and you don’t have something sticking out that doesn’t fit in the truck. I love the build quality of the cases too. Knowing the guys, I know that “shortcut” is not in the Fiasco vocabulary; everything has to be done right.”

"All of our trucks are 2400mm in width - that’s the crucial number for road cases. With Fiasco Cases, because everything’s a factor of that width, you can maximise the ability to get cases across the trucks. I reckon it halves the loading time."

“We have had a few other brands over the years and even over the space of purchases made six months apart, there were variants in sizing; ten to twenty mm, which is a pain to this day. We got to a point where we realised that the consistent sizing of Fiasco Cases was helping us to pack a truck with Fiasco Cases twice as fast as it took us using non-standardised road cases. That efficiency has improved our load in and outs on jobs hugely. It has changed our thinking about how we spec jobs too. Even at the start when speccing for various venues, we have in our mind how many cases we’ll need and how many are going to go in the truck and the weights, and adjust accordingly.”
